Nokia LUMIA 625 vs Samsung GALAXY Grand

Its time for comparing the new Nokia Lumia 625 vs Samsung Galaxy Grand!

Design: Nokia Lumia 625 have the all new polycarbonate matte design, its more durable than previous polycarbonate on Nokia Lumia (except 1020),it also easier to create and produce,it makes productions even faster too
Nokia Lumia 625 are very colourful, stylish, and perfect for everyone,it have thinner bezels to reduce the size and more compact to use

-Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy Grand design are very boring, its not durable too,the Samsung Galaxy grand design uglier than my local brand, even Lenovo and Huawei have a much better design than Samsung

Camera: both have same 5MP camera with LED flash, but what makes them different are Lumia 625 have a great and hig performance LED flash without eating battery life, the sample pictures looks very natural and simple, meanwhile on Galaxy grand it looks like a ghost if you using the flash on it

OS: both Galaxy Grand and Lumia 625 have a different operating system,Galaxy grand have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Lumia 625 have Windows Phone 8 GDR 2.0/Nokia Amber with Glance Screen, with Windows Phone everything looks smarter, faster, easier and always connected with your friends, families and others

Galaxy Grand use Android 4.1 Jelly bean,Its very laggy even in home screen,it have unstable battery life making people who have Galaxy Grand aren’t satisfied and disappointed with Galaxy Grand, the ui looks like Android 2.3 Gingerbread UI even Galaxy grand running on 4.1 Jelly bean

Screen: both have different screen size,The Lumia 625 comes with 4.7 inch and galaxy grand comes with 5 inch screen
Both have same 480X800 resolutions making the Lumia 625 sharper than Galaxy Grand (201 vs 185/187ppi),the Lumia 625 also have PureMotion like screen,it have 60hz refresh rate which means the fastest screen ever on an affordable price,it have much better readability even under the sun light

Networks connections: Nokia Lumia 625 compatible with 4G LTE meanwhile Galaxy Grand doesn’t support 4G LTE ,with Nokia Xpress browser it makes cheaper date even on 4G connections

Battery: Nokia Lumia 625 have 2000 mAh battery vs 2100 mAh battery on Galaxy Grand but I wonder why Lumia 625 have a much better battery life than Galaxy Grand it means Android never provide an stable and optimised battery life

  1. DONT MISLEAD…GALAXY GRAND HAS A 8 MP REAR CAMERA AND 2 MP FRONT AS COMPARED TO 5 MP AND A VGA FRONT CAMERA ON LUMIA.RAM OF GRAND IS 1 GB COMPARED TO 512 MB OF LUMIA…..JUST GOOGLE COMPARISON…NOKIA IS LOSING MARKET AND SAMSUNG IS AT NO 1…

  2. Well, by looking the specification Lumia 625 is good, only the screen is to big while the resolution is still 480 x 800 pixel, but it is better than for the screen compared to Galaxy Grand. As low end, 512 MB RAM seems should be accepted, the radio FM, GDR2 update, 4G connectivity, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and 8 GB internal memory will be a plus. I am interested to this Lumia 625. In Indonesia is still doesn’t come.

  3. @purenokia

Currently using Lumia 520, good enough, just don’t like the OS limitation and very annoying sometimes restart itself. Now waiting for Amber update.

Can’t read documents (.doc, .xls) from SD card directly like Android, multiple sending files except images or musics via email, can’t set ringtone from SD card to become ringing volume.

  5. Lumia 625 may be the someone to select, as you receive quicker CPU(1.only two Ghz as opposed to 1 Ghz), even bigger display (4.7 inch as opposed to 3. 8 inch), together with superior power supply and Fm radio help. Additionally, it features quicker acquire pace, but does not have NFC help that’s within Lumia 620.
